Student of the Year 2023

Jesus Olguin

Jesus and Coach Reid

Greetings Mr. Goodrum,

The Vision of Fairview Elementary School is that ALL students will be well rounded and prepared for the future. Behavior is a key aspect of this focus and vision. Behavior is taught and learned much like math and English. The news is flooded with students who make wrong choices. It is our mission to recognize those students who exemplify positive behavior and decision making.

On behalf of the P.B.I.S. Team and the entire Fairview Elementary School Family, I would like to express our overwhelming gratitude for your generosity. With your help, one student has been recognized for his efforts in modeling our behavior matrix. The matrix is based upon the acronym, S.O.A.R., which stands for Safe, Organized, Accountable and Respectful. Jesus Olguin has been rewarded as P.B.I.S. Student of the Year. He has been a model student throughout his time as a student here at Fairview. He was the unanimous winner of this award.

On behalf of our faculty and staff, we Thank You and the Do Good Things Foundation for your support. I certainly look forward to working with your foundation for years to come!

Thank you for helping us in our continued efforts to SOAR, because Fairview Eagles SOAR!!!

Respectfully,

Steven E. Reid
